Questions about official Des Moines County criminal records belong with the government office that created or keeps the file. The Burlington sheriff's business office handles county law-enforcement requests, while the Clerk of Court handles filed criminal cases. Iowa DCI provides the state criminal-history check. The contacts below route each record type to its actual custodian.

This Is Not a Government Office. This private reference cannot retrieve official criminal records, perform state checks, correct or remove records, or accept an Iowa expungement filing. Only the responsible government custodian can act on those requests.
